DIY PROJECT

Assalamualaikum

  it was last Saturday on 30 January 2016 our group members has decided to gather at Tasik Ampang Hilir to finish up our DIY (Do It Yourself) project.

As we know DIY project is useful and we can do it ourselves using the used things at home without wasting your time and money to buy it at the shop.
So we decided to make 2 types of DIY which are:
v Painting
v Shoelace bracelet
So let’s go to our first DIY project which is shoelace bracelet.





For the shoelace bracelet we just need only two types of shoelaces with different colour.





Look at the picture below and follow the step given.





For the first step, we need to stitch the shoelaces like this. For example:























Then, keep stitching toward down the shoelaces until your desired length is reached.


















After that, we need to lock the bar as the picture below:





Tighten firmly, then snip singe the ends.
That is how you ended the bracelet.






Let’s move on to our second DIY project which is painting.
So this is the most part that we are waiting for because it was much exciting than the above one.

First you need to prepare materials to be used in this DIY project such as:
·        Various colour of button
·        Mounting board
·        Drawing paper
·        Coloured paper

·        Poster colour

1)      Draw the tree using pencil
2)      Colour the tree using poster colour of brown and black
3)      Patch the button on the tree branches using glue



So this is the result!



 Yeah finally we did it; even it took long time to finish it. We proud of our DIY project because everybody takes part in making it to become an awesome thing. That’s all for this week. FIRST HIKING EXPERIENCE

Assalamualaikum.
So yeah, this is my first time doing blog writing, which is why the muqaddimah is a bit awkward. hehehe
Okay let’s start it!

According to my title, it was my first time doing hiking, so I have selected Broga Hills as my first hiking experience, because I heard someone said that this hill was the easiest one. There is only a few obstacles there, yeah that's what I heard. I know that Broga Hills is not an unfamiliar name anymore. Since 2014 this hill is becoming more famous in Selangor.

                   So it was on 6th January 2016, my friend and I went to Broga Hill. Honestly, it was a last minute plan, but thank God, all went well. As early as 6.20 a.m. we were ready for climbing. At that time, the sky was still dark and I had to use my torchlight to start climbing. At the beginning it was quite easy, feeling like a cross country competition. Just at the beginning, tho. When it comes to the middle, we already felt tired because in the middle, the obstacles were a bit hard to face, with a very steep hill of 70 degrees and with slippery surfaces that made us to be more careful and the climbing gradually becomes slower. At that moment, I felt like giving up already, but my friend kept cheering on me because we had decided to see the sun rises together on the top of the hill.



                    Finally, at 7.15 a.m. we managed to reach the top after our hard work of confronting those obstacles. At the top of the hill, I and my friend watched the sunrise together.










and by the way, the view is quite beautiful, feeling like you were in overseas. Look at the picture below: 








The scenery is miraculous, can't describe by words. Glory be to Allah.




We take a few minutes to relax our mind and body. At 8.30 am we go down while we played along with Doa Dhuha and Assalamualaikum by Lah Ahmad songs. At 9.00 a.m sharp, we safely arrived at the bottom of the hill and of course we were all sweating like crazy at that moment. We went home after that. I can tell you that is one of those moments where things were just so meaningful to someone because you were doing it with your friend. And this is one of a few memories that I have made with them.



To end my post, I will give you some tips before you climb that Broga Hill. hehe
  •  3 days prior to it, please do exercises like stretching or something that can warm up your body.
  • please bring only one bag, just a small bag to make your climbing more easier.
  • bring your torchlight if you come early in the morning.
  • wear a proper attire to make an easy movement when you do your climbing.
  • bring a mineral water to calm down your tired body, not too much.
  • bring your First Aid Kit to ensure your safety.
