رمضان المبارك

يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون

[Al baqarah : 183]
“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous

Once in a year, there is a month that all of the muslims have been awaited for celebrating with joyful and wonderful. It is  a month for all of muslims gathered into one for serving Allah SWT by doing a plenty of good activities as many as we could in order to pay back good deeds towards our almighty creator, Allah SWT. A month that full of barakah and noble we call as Ramadan Al-Mubarak. In entire month of Ramadan the muslims are conducted to fast which refrain ourselves from eating, drinking and encouraging self-control from bad and no moral activities.

A month, we as muslims considered as the holiest month of the year, throughout a day and night we can see many muslims hands facing the sky asking Allah for forgiveness and blessings throughout their lives, asking for guidance and asking for protection from fire of hell. Other than that, the reason of fasting is able one to learns to control his or her desires and temptations and thus has greater self-refrain. We also were asked to imagine how is like the poor people live without food and drink for many days.

After fasting from sunrise until sunset, the muslims usually would having a large dinner that call as Iftar with their family, relative or friends. Afterwards, all muslims would gathered to mosque to perform the Tarawikh prayer which is sunat for all muslims to perform it. Thus, whoever performed they would be granted from Allah SWT. Next, before the sunset is rising we were encouraging to wake up and eat during the Sahur as the replacement for breakfast in the morning. Additional more, it is also one of sunnah from our prophet Nabi Muhammad SAW which are good and receive Pahala from Allah SWT.

Besides that, in Arab country the government proclaim the month of Ramadan as holiday for all citizens including, the workers, students and sellers. The government gave way and opportunity for them to do the Jariaah and drew closer to Allah SWT. Where our group (Liberators) found Arabic’s government are so systematical in programmable and understandable towards its citizens during Ramadhan. We are very respect and high salute through this brilliant system for Arabic citizens.

Apart from that, our group has decided to share about some of our member memories and experiences during the Ramadan. So shall we make a move to Najwa’s story, guys!

Fasting” or also known as “Therseel od” in Thai word, the thing that we all as a Muslim must do in the most precious month that is RAMADAN, I felt that fasting for the first time while in childhood is difficult to forget the memories. I made up a tolerance of the power of faith.

I learnt to fast from the age of seven years and be serious when I was eight years old. At the age of seven years, I tried to fast for the first time and do a full day fasting make me felt little dizzy. That year, only 2-3 days a month that I did a full day fast.

When I was 13 years old I’ve started to fast in SMAP KAJANG, which was my first year fasting in Malaysia. The condition was very difference including the food, the place, and the surroundings. It is because when I was in my own country, I can choose anything that I want for my break fasting as I was with my parents that always fulfill my desire but not in SMAP KAJANG, I have to eat what is served and prepared by the canteen stuffs. At first, I can’t even eat the Malay’s food because the taste was so bad. Not long after that, the food was getting more delicious day by day and I already can accept the Malay food until now.

One thing that I can’t forget while I was fasting in SMAP KAJANG when my friends and I were going out to bazar Ramadan together to buy the extra foods for Iftar. As the food have been prepared in the dining hall by the canteen stuffs unfortunately it still was not enough for me..Erkkk. The food that I could not forget to buy whenever I went to Bazar Ramadan is honey grilled chicken ”Ayammadu” For me it was so yummy and delicious.

At night, I would go to the mosque to perform Tarawih prayer with my family whenever I came back to Thailand, whereas in SMAP KAJANG I’ll go to the mosque with my friends. Because of that, our friendship is strengthened time after time.

Last but not least, as I  was getting older the thoughts about Ramadhan have changed, when I was a child the only thing in my mind about Ramadan is fasting from eating and drinking from sun rise until the sun set but the perception has changed as I am getting more matured. Now Ramadan for me is not only fasting from eating or drinking but we must fasting from doing all the bad things which are fasting our eyes from looking bad things, our ears from hearing not beneficial things and our mouth from saying the bad things. Therefore, Ramadan is actually like a “madrasah” school for all Muslims to train themselves to become a better person.

Here we go to the next story which is ‘secret’ whoever he/she might be; we hope you guys enjoy the story!

My very own story about my experiences and memories during Ramadan Al-Mubarak began when I was little by the age of 5.  My mom has trained me to fasting for a half day in a month. At first, I objected because of thirsty and hungry. I can’t deal myself from not drinking or eating at all. Fortunately, after has been trained day after day I manage myself to continue fasting. Even though, I’ve successfully fasting for just half of day, it already has fulfilled my mom wishes and happiness.

I remember when I was 7 when it comes the time for me to wake up for sahur I would cry out loud because of restless and sleepless. Despite of that, my parents kept forcing me to wake up and eat sahur no matter what, so I have no right to say no. During the teenagers I became very serious in fasting; in fact I made it in fasting for one of full month almost every year. Every evening, my family and I would go to the mosque to perform Tarawikh. Even the mosques across the world are packed with muslims listening to the Quran in the special Tarawikh prayer.

After understanding and experiencing fasting through the years, it has thought me in so many ways such as be patient, be polite to everyone and be an important bond that unites all family members and muslim relatives. In fact, fasting also make me improved and fixed up to become better and even better. I’m glad that I was born as a Muslim, so I can experience in fasting same like other muslims as well. We must be proud and thankful to Allah SWT for giving us chances and energies in fasting while we were still alive and strong.

Let's check it out, Farid's story during Ramdhan!

There were so many of my childhood memories during Ramadhan. I started fasting at the age of 10 but it only lasted until half-day. At night, I only pray maghrib and isyak prayer. After that, I went to the field to play firecrackers matches and saw the eldest played bamboo and iron cannon. The next year, I started full day fasting. It’s because my grandfather promise me to give RM 1 everyday if I fasting for full day. In that year, I also do 8 rakaat for tarawih prayer, it’s because my grandmother promise to give me RM 1 every night. At the age of 12, I started full day fasting and do the tarawih prayer without money. But in that year, for the first time ever I had major operation during ramadhan.

Let’s go further to our next group member’s story during Ramadhan!

This is one of the best memories that I’ve ever had every time when Ramadhan is coming, all of my family will be gathered and Iftar   together at my mom’s house. There are two dining tables that are divided for men and women, which those tables will be, full every Iftar. Every evening, all of my 6 sisters will go to the kitchen to help my mother prepared for the Iftar. My mom will cook like we were going to having a big feast. Haha. Every day my mom will make a dessert for us. Go to drink, it’s about 3 to 4 types of drink that we will have for Iftar. It just so different situation when it comes to Eidul-Fitri days. It is a big different where we can gathered all together in Ramadhan.

Last but not least, let’s check it out about our Leader’s story during Ramadhan!

It was hard to fast for the whole day when i was a kid. There's always something that gets in the way. The best part is I put on act in front of my parents. Let them think that I'm fasting when in fact I'm not actually. When I can’t hold back my thirst, I could even drink the pipe water. And when it comes to eating, I could do even in the bathroom. I still find it quite funny actually. When the times come to break our fast, I made it look like I'm fasting.

At night, I told my mother that I was going to the mosque for tarawih prayers. I was going to the mosque but my intention was a little bit swayed. The real reason that I and my friends went there was to get a free food and play together. And then I did not when home straight away after the 'prayers'. I went to the shop and get some firecracker and having 'war' with my friends. It was a funny thing to do at the moment. After we all get tired, then we get home.

Thats all about my experience in Ramadhan when I was a kid. It was one of the things that I couldn't forget.

Moral of the story, by fasting on Ramadan uplift and motivate us (human being) to be self-command, empathy, and revere. Fasting can be agreed-upon as more than refrain from eating and drinking but it include also refrain yourselves from the illegally apply our tongues, hearts and minds. Allah SWT has commanded us to fast, so we as (human being) can take this in itself as a lesson for ourselves to be more better ummah than before.

اللهم بارك لنا في رجب وشعبان وبلغنا رمضان

O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha'ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings)
[Narrated by at-Tabarani and Ahmad]

IPHONE VS ANDROID

we are going to discuss with you all is about IOS vs. android. As you all know, this two types of mobile operating system were the most popular in this world, and have the majority users. In our group, majority use android and only one who use IOS which is iPhone.
For your information IOS is a mobile operating system for Apple-manufactured devices. IOS runs on the iphone, Ipad, Ipod Touch and Apple TV. Besides that, Android is a Smartphone OS developed by Google. It is used by a variety of mobile phone manufactures including MOTOROLA, HTC Samsung and Sonny Errison. Android phones typically come with several built-in applications and also support third-party programs.

We have asked some of our group members to give their opinion about that mobile operating system. Let us proceed to IOS mobile operating system and ANDROID mobile system.

IPHONE’s OPERATING SYSTEM
ANDROID’s OPERATING SYSTEM
It can tweak the OS to make it run as efficiently on that hardware as possible.
Most android phones however have a micro SD slot, so you can easily and cheaply buy more storage space.
Apple prefers built-in memory to memory card slots.
If your battery starts sucking, you can often remove it and replace it with a new one
It is extended to support to other apple devices such as iphone, ipod, ipad and etc.
Can be used as remote controls, because they have infrared blasters on the top.
Apple doesn’t license IOS for installation on non- apple hardware
Easy to drag and drop files between your phone and your computer with android.

Interface Builder:
Provides drag and drop creation of user interfaces.
Generally, Android’s visible file system is amazing. When you plug your android phone into your computer, you can see a file system just like the one you did work with if you were searching for something on your computer.
Iphone Simulator:
Provides ability to test your software on iphone and ipad.
Android doesn’t care where your music comes from.

In IOS you can find IOS layer which are the core IOS layer, the core service layer, the media layer and the cocoa touch layer
Most android devices, you have several additional opinions, you can customize an android phone much more than IPhone, like by adding widgets on your home screen.
the core IOS layer manages the virtual memory, threads, the file systems, the network, inter process communication with the frameworks in the core layer.
A few android phones, you can open and see multiple apps at once
In case of lost or stolen Find My iphone allows us to locate it into a map, remotely delete all the data and remotely it will bock our data.
That’s all about their opinion; now let us go to the factual and differences of this two operating system.

Android vs. IOS is like Thailand and Japanese food. These two things not too good or delicious but it depends on someone, which one they wanted to eat and who would like to eat?’

Independent
For example, Android can install apps from anywhere, it can be from the computer and many else.  The external devices can be easily connected (using USB plug with any other devices) to access the files and adjust the settings of the machine.
Easy
IOS is a system that is less complicated. Highlight is a centralized service, be it iTunes, Games Center and iCloud, users will have a single system. (One account use it extensively) Interest is safe from malware.
Powerful
I like the ability to customize the system to be able to select Android apps to enhance the air. The highlight of this system is "Multitask" can run multiple applications simultaneously at a single time.
Stably
iOS does not just slip immediate Greene's home. But the apps are smooth. Energy saving is even open the app and hold. It is down more applications. Performance does not deteriorate at all.
I found a short article about your Smart mobile phone in the magazines it has been translated to read it.
This one would have heard that mobile smart phone frequently. The smart phone is different from an ordinary mobile, we are also doing well. There's a simple, smart phones, portable computers, it is small enough. Smart phones can play Internet to view the site made for PC. The screen is touch-and-large. Play twitter, facebook, easily and quickly. It also has software that's on the phone to download both free and paid, we called an application.

There are type of smart phone that we would be seeing the iPhone Android Windows Phone House and Black Berry. But the most popular is the iPhone and Android. Then we will know better then. In fact, whether the iPhone or Android, it has distinct advantages. We just need to choose the most suitable for the use of our own. What are the advantages of each. To read it

iPhone
1. Applications that need them. The company Apple is a big company that is reputable. It has applications in a highly secure and reliable out of options.
2. There is one button Do not confuse it will hit me. Whether to use the phone or press to close the applications you are not using it, and then press the big button on the bottom center is just one key. Easy and hassle-free
3. There have wide selection of refurbished phones. Whether the case Sticker keypad, the headphones jack on the doll or other variety of decorative designs from brands around the world, it is available for purchase as well.

Android
1. There are many, many and many mobile manufacturing companies like Android marketed. Thus, consumers like us with many options that will make use of it. Good design
2. A mobile big screen to select it. There are models out there to choose from a large screen suitable for mobile movies.
3. Extra features some differences from the iPhone. For example, some brands have a built-in infrared.
4. You can manage your own home page. We will move the clock on the home page or moving parts, but it was not us.

On the first day 5th March 2016, we have gathered in “Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)” at 10.30 a.m. to buy bus tickets that will depart at 11:00 am. Our journey was not too long. Normally it took 2 hours to arrive Malacca but depends on the smoothness of the traffic on the highway. We arrived in Malacca central at 1.00 p.m. and waited for our friend; Aqilah (the pink scarf) that would be team up with our member to collaborate this travel plan along. She picked us up at Malacca central and took us to her house.

In the evening, the first activity was walking around Dataran Pahlawan seeing the nice view and fresh air. As you know, you can hanging on the grass field  as it clean and suitable for you guys to take pictures there.

Then, we went to red buildings and A Famosa. Besides visiting and taking pictures we also can earn new knowledge about the history of the buildings.

The last activity we did in the evening was, we went to Mahkota Parade and enjoyed watching the latest Malay film which is 'MUNAFIK'.

In the night, we walked around in Jonker Walk which is the last destination for the first day. There are a lot of cheap things there, such as key chain, bracelet, food and many more.

On the second day, we went to Blue Lagoon or "Tanjung Biru" which is located just at the border of Melaka and Port Dickson. The view on the beach was stunning with the natural beauty of the forest and the rocks that lined up nicely along the beach. We spent 2 hours there.

Then we decided to move on to our next destination which is Masjid Selat that is located not too far from Bandaraya Melaka. This mosque is one of the most unique mosques in Malaysia. Its position that was built on the surface of the ocean and the unique shape made it as one of the most attentive attraction in our country.

After an exhaustive travelling, we made a call to recharge our energy by going to Medan Ikan Bakar that was placed in Umbai. All of dishes that included fish were coming straight from the ocean which makes it fresh and delightful. There are plenty of dishes to be choose from comes with an affordable price.

After we had filled our stomach with a splendid meal, we wanted to go back to our staying place there. But before going back, we went to Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) just to have a nice chat and good night among us. While we were there, we were told by our friend that MBMB is indeed a place to hang out and have a good time with our beloved person. Around 11.00 p.m., all of us were been tired and we decided to going back to our staying place.

On our last day there, we don’t have many time left. So, we all need to catch our bus that is scheduled to travel to Kuala Lumpur exactly on 11.00 a.m. from the Melaka Sentral. We were packing our things to get ready to leave. Before leaving, we went to one of our KUPTM's friend house and we took a picture to memorialize our moments in Malacca.

Last but not least, we want to say a big thank you to our guider aka our classmate that have been help us since we arrive in Melaka until the end of our trip. It such a big kindness from you (Aqilah), that was hard for us to payback. May Allah grant you and your family happiness and blessings always.

liberators behind the scene

It’s been more than one and a half month since we create this blog account for our group. So for this week, we will give you a special topic called "Liberators behind the scene" which this topic will tell you everything about us especially on why we choose our name group as "LIBERATORS", and to make it more interesting we added a bit of our group member’s background. Let’s start it!

To be honest, at the time that when we have to decide our name group, we are so blank and don’t know what to choose as our name group because miss only give us 5 minutes to think about it. Our group member which is Ummu, give her suggestion words “Liberators”, because that word suddenly came across her mind. Without thinking long, since the time that has been given from miss to us has end, so we just decided to take that word as our name group.

Actually, Ummu said that why she pick that word is because word liberators is from the name of batch 97 at SMAPK. It is just because Najwa is beside her, so when Ummu look at her, that word suddenly came across her mind, since Najwa also from SMAPK. Hahaha seems funny but that word has a big meaning in it.

After a few days later, we ourselves just knew that our group members have the same age. Yeah, we all are on the same age, the same year but not at the same month, hehe. Okay so that is for the intro, let’s move on to the detail meaning of our name group.

LIBERATORS
- a person who liberates a person or place from imprisonment or oppression.
- someone who sets people free from captivity.
-from Latin words liberare meaning “to set free”.

According to The Liberators, our group's vision and goal is to change the way we usually think than before, for examples we would like to liberate ourselves from thinking inside the box to think outside the box. Besides that, we are also would like to transform ourselves from being an ordinary person to be an extraordinary person. In order to accomplish our vision, we will try our best and put a very high effort until we finally succeed.

From all the meaning above, we tried to apply those big things in our daily life. For example, help people who in distress or to solve any of their problem but depends on our ability. If you don’t have the ability to solve their problem, just try gives them at least some advice that can help them relieve their stress. There are actually millions of things to do because this word has such a big meaning that connects to our daily life. This thing even can change someone’s life from bad to good. Life has upside down, which sometimes could be thunder storm, tsunami and even banjir Kelantan. It is normal because life is not always about butterflies and rainbows.

Yeah, now we let you guys know about us more closely. Let us start with our leader first,

My name is Romizan B. Othman. I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. There’s not much that I can tell about my past. When I was little, I am kind of chubby and I studied at SK Jalan Hang Tuah 2. Then I went to Victoria Institution for my high school time. While I was there, I stayed in the hostel for four years. I took SPM back in 2014 in the same school. But now I am a student of MARA Poly-Tech College (KPTM).

Let’s move on to our second member,

My name is Muhammad Farid Bin Mohd Zabidi. I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Selangor. There’s not much that I can tell about my past. When I was little, I am kind of thin and I studied at SK Hicom. Then I went to Smk Alam Megah, at school my friend called me the fastest hand in school because I’m the only one student in the school vicarious nasheed up to the district level that is the unforgettable memories for my high school time. I take SPM back in 2014 in the same school. But now I am a student of MARA Poly-Tech College (KPTM).

The third one is Isma,

Aloha I’m Isma. How’s is it going peoples?
I know my greeting line is kind of casual way, but I’ve used to it, let it be though. So, what I want to share this time is all about my very own personal life or easy to say my short biography. First things first, I was ordinarily born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. Wait, City-Girl? Who, me? Nah! Even though, I lived here but still I don’t even feel like being a City-Girl at all. Being a city-girl isn’t exciting and happening as though many people think. Actually, there are so many challenges and obstacles once you lived or stayed in KL. But that’s not what am I going to share, sorry for the wrong topic. I have lived here for 19 years almost reach two decades. I began my first education in SK AU Keramat as primary school’s student then continued my secondary lesson in SMK Taman Setiawangsa. After I’ve graduated from high school successfully, I furthered my study to UiTM Jengka, Pahang. Unfortunately, after 4 months of studying and receiving the agreements from parents, I have made my mind to quit certainly. Many people asked me why did I quit from such a great university, why did I made such a drastic decision and why must I have to that way.  Well, my reason is simple, yet quiet an immature; Homesick. I know some of you might think how not very independent am I was that time. So the conclusion is I can’t change someone’s perspective just to make he/her believes me, as long as I can stand by my own two feet I still can handle with that. I’m fine if some peoples labeled me as daddy’s little girl, I still can deal with that too though. All of human do a mistake, we can’t stop ourselves from not do any mistake in this wide world. You know what in life what you really want; will never come easy, because life is like a treasure no matter what mistake you’ve done  in the past all you need is to move on until you reach to the peak of mountain. Now i'm proudly to say i'm living in my on dreams, some of my wishes have been granted and fulfilled; such being a KUPTM KL student after so many problematic i have through in the past. So, good luck with your adventures and treasures, and always remember the reason you're doing this is to make your life better and even better!

The fourth one is Najwa,

Yeah, It’s me, the most silence one in the group, Najwa Norji. Everyone call me Najwa. I have finished my o-level, SPM at Sekolah Menengah Agama Persekutuan Kajang (SMAPK), Selangor. As you know, I’m one of international students in the class. Yeah I am from neighbouring country, Thailand. Even though I was originally born in Thailand, but I still can manage to speak the Malaysian’s local language fluently as I have been hear in Malaysia for almost six years. As I have been in Malaysia since I was 13 years old which is in form 1 In SMAPK. Truly, SMAPK is the name I honoured until now. The school that I was thought and learnt so many things. From there, I obtained a lot of meaningful and precious experiences that remain in my mind forever. Besides that, SMAPK is the place I started my very first education in foreign country’s school. The best moment that I ever had in that school is when I was announced as one of the top student that obtain result with flying colours, with 10 A1 B+ for SPM, from that, I would like to share my tips on how to be a successful student:
  • Doing early preparation before class start
  • Always ask your lecturer when you are not understand the lesson
  • Always do a revision on what you have learnt

So, I hope that all these tips can give you some benefit or impact in your studying in KPTM. That’s all from me, Thank you.
SMAP KAJANG batch 97

"SMAPK Strives For Excellence"

Alright, last but not least we go to our last group member which is Ummu.

As you all know (which is my classmates), the first impression that most of them thought of me is I am an overbearing person and fierce. There are some of them who afraid to talk to me because I am a strict person. Hahaha. Well, I admit that as yes, it is me. Why am I are acting like that because of my past that has brought me to be that kind of person. A bit of my past, since 2010 I active in co-curriculum which is Police Cadet Uniforms. I started involve in many activities which is marching, rifle M16 for national competition, camping until the national level, in 2014 I have been appointed by the police chief of Kuala Lumpur with rank of sergeant. I also love to take part in sports like running and many else in the past. So yeah, my full name is Ummu Attirah Bt. Mohamad. I was studied at SMK Puterijaya which is this school for girls only. I have been enjoying schooling because there is no boys in the school exclude the teachers because we all felt free to do whatever we want. Now, I have been chosen KUPTM, KL as my first college journey for Diploma level. May Allah ease our journey in this world and hereafter. I give you some of my collection photo:

I lead the marching named Kawad Kawalan Kehormatan. This part you have to hold the rifle with your right hand while you were marching. Well, as you can see that small girl infront of the marching, yeah it was me. hehe

View looking from the VIP's seat.

That’s all for this week, hope that you guys would be more interesting day by day to read our coming up posting. Thank You!
